About 3 years ago my parents got a divorce. That year was so hard for me. I was so stressed and I didn't know what to do until my mom explained to me why. It took me awhile to understand. My mom was there for me when I needed someone the most. Without my dad, everything seem to fall apart. But for my mom, being a single parent to the family was even harder. My mom knew that every summer the bills are going to be expensive.
She worked very hard at the farm to get vegetables to sell at the farmers market to get money. By doing that she makes a lot of profit. But the hard part was her waking up early everyday going to the market and then after the market, it was heading to the farm.
When she gets to the farm, she has to pick certain plants. After that she had to wash them. Doing that everyday non stop for five days is very hard. Growing up i was involved in many different types of sports and activities, and she always made the effort to come to every single game, competition, and met no matter what her schedule consisted of. She was always there cheering me on, giving me motivation. My mom always makes the best out of every situation that comes along her way.
She continues to wear a smile on her face even when times get tough. Even though me and my mom might not always get along, she will always be my hero.
